Back in 2006, Drew Benvie sat down and wrote the first ever Wikipedia page on ‘social media’. He hasn’t stopped leading the way since.

He remains one of the principle voices when it comes to digital technologies in marketing and, over an impressively short period of time, he has built an agency that is now one of the top rated in the country  - winning 14x Agency of the Year awards in just seven years!

David is someone I’ve held in high-regard for a number of years, so you can imagine how thrilled I was when he agreed to be interviewed for my little series.

For the uninitiated, David Hieatt builds great brands “from nothing, with next to nothing…”

He writes books. Good books (he wrote the only book on email marketing you’ll ever need). If you’re lucky enough to attend his workshops, you’ll leave full of ideas and actions. 

He is unrelenting. He gets things done! It’s no wonder that Apple, Google and Red Bull have all booked him to speak to their teams.
